Grading Levi's | Someday

Late last year I graded a spec commercial for Levi's created by New York based director Carlos Felipe.

Carlos had shot the video between New York and Los Angeles over 18 months, all run'n'gun using only available light. We decided on a look that would emulate Kodak Portra film photography, using the warmth in the talents' skin tones that had resulted from shooting the majority of the project at golden hour.

It was a lot of fun trying to create something cohesive out of a spot with over forty different setups in sixty seconds, and we were both very happy with how it turned out.
